From the dining room | Baroque, Sydney

September 10, 2014

A meal coming in at $50 for two people is almost unheard of in Sydney, especially in an area like The Rocks. Baroque, in The Rocks boasts an extensive French menu, from Chicken Liver parfait and French onion soup to the Truffle cheeseburger; there is a taste for everyone.

For a burger lover such as myself, the Truffle Cheeseburger is not to be missed. Served on a soft brioche bun, the patty rich in moisture with the distinct taste of truffle dispersed throughout. A side of crisp fries completes the meal, as with any good burger.

For the dessert lover, the selection of cakes on display as you walk through the front door will have you asking for dessert as your first course. If that’s not enough, a look through the menu at the rest of the selections will be enough to satiate your sweet tooth.

A fantastic place to visit for a weekend lunch (or dinner), you won’t be disappointed by the modern decor, prompt and friendly service and delicious food on offer.
